I enjoyed your wedding!
A few months ago I invited my friend Kate to hang out so I could take photos of her with her friends just having fun. I told her that basically the plan was to document their entire day, if possible. I just felt like I’d come up with more natural photos that way. Unfortunately, I had to wait util both our schedules complemented each other. So for awhile, there was nothing. Noooothing happened until about two weeks ago, when I noticed Kate online on Y!M. I casually asked what was UUUUP and if we were ever going to push through with it and BOOM! Great timing because they (Kate and her friend Monique) were finally free!
Although I had to change my plan of action. Documenting their entire day wasn’t an option anymore since they were only going to be free for a couple of hours. Haha! So I decided to ditch the candids and go with poses. Everything was set and the only thing left to do was get to our location. We got there right on schedule, but only to find out that their previous opening time had already changed. Their doors weren’t opening til late noon. It was around 10am, and Mon had to leave at 1pm. So we thought fast and hard and we came up with another location. Aaaaand if you wanna find out what happened next, you can read it through the photos I took. : ) I think it turned out pretty well for all of us despite the bumps along the road. And I really liked our impromptu location! Hehehe
Hope you enjoy these! Hit the comments to lemme know what you think.

Shot last March 27, 2010 with Heidi Valencia over at Tagaytay! Hurray for Tagaytay weddings!
Heidi and I took on different hotels for Kakoy and Trixie. As usual, I took good care of the groom and Heidi, the bride. From the start, we knew that this won’t be the usual stint we’re accustomed to. For one, Kakoy’s in a band. He was also a former member of Barbie’s Cradle, Rivermaya and some other bands that I couldn’t remember right now. Kakoy’s a very relaxed person, he actually kept saying that he just wanted the shoot as loose as possible. He told me that he didn’t like posing in front of the camera, so everything I shot was impromptu or candid. Up until the reception, it was all by heart. Meaning they had no program whatsoever, and they just winged it as they went along
Hahaha! Usually those things end up disastrous, but with this particular wedding everyone was so engaged in singing along and even coming up to the front and singing for the crowd while Kakoy with his excellent guitar playing skills and his band played one song after the other. In short, it was one of the most interesting weddings I’ve been to!
Fitting, don’t you think?
He eats, sleeps and rocks out with his guitar hehehe
Kakoy & Trixie’s cute cute daughter
They’ve actually been together for 9 years, but only just decided to tie the knot.
Did I say that Kakoy has a very eccentric personality? And I think it’s a common trait among family members

One of the ninongs got his hands full, partially my own doing
Soooo cute little girl
He was intent on making Elmo dizzy :p
Trixie’s reaction when Kakoy started singing
Trixie’s tita, when asked to sing

Kakoy’s mom doing a number for him and his wife

The closing speech was left to the bestman/Kakoy’s brother
Which left everyone including the couple with laugher and tears
Wedding time again! Haha it’s been awhile too so I hope you’ll be happy with this wedding!
Shot last March 20, 2010 at Tagaytay with Toto Villaruel & Lianne Bacorro
Didn’t get much shots of the bride. Toto took care of Haidee and I took care of Al. So Al and I took advantage of the time we had
Hehe another bouquet shot cos… why not?
Shot with Hyds of Imagine Nation for Cradle Magazine; a family oriented publication : )
You like kids? Me too!!!
These little guys are one of my favorite subjects to capture. Enjoy!
A half-hearted belat from an adorable little girl : )
An ate trying on the rodeo bull, and struggling to stay on it
Say cheese!
Reaching for the stars? For now gotta get those balloons first!
Ngggiiiiiii! This chubby little boy making the cutest expression cause he can’t take the baby g-force : ))
Because everyone else around him clapped : D
Future Imagine Nation photographer!
Someone didn’t take a bath, and I don’t think it’s the dog! Haha! : ))
I noticed that it’s been quite some time since I posted a wedding, so expect to see more more more of just that soon.
For now, here’s a teaser from Jaydee and Vanessa’s wedding over at Tagaytay last April 24. Shot with Noel and Paul
The big site version of Facebook’s Randem Tandem. My whatever shots gathered from here and there. : )
We wanted to treat Tito Noriel (my dad’s brother) to the one of the best sights in here the Philippines cause he’s been away for so long. So we headed off to Coron, baby!
Last year we went to Puerto Princesa and it’s hard to compare them to each other because they’re both so beautiful and unique. To describe it and turn it into words is beyond me, but I what I can do is show you some photos so you can give a thousand of your own.
Is it just me, or do you get that “Japan” vibe too? View from the place we stayed in at 6 in the morning.
A nice resto across where we were eating that night
Our arrival at our first destination
When I got up here, I stared at this same view for around 5 minutes
The little person (yes, there is a person in this photo) is my dad : ))
If this guy were anything else but human, I’m a hundred percent sure that he’d be a fish. He swims NON-STOP
My sister being cute on the boat hehe
These little guys were just swimming near the surface the water
Couldn’t remember how many times I said wow out loud when I saw this sight
The 2nd pic out of 4 of me in Palawan haha
The fish resurfaced to get some air. Guess what he did after?
So began our 700 step long journey to the top. Kinda tricky cause they mark the 100th and 200th steps and the next marked step is the 700th step already.
Redundant but very welcome view going up to Mt. Tapyas (though it’s quite a scary sight at night, when we went back down) adding a little green to take the scare off hehe
A super deja vu moment but still unique. (I’m starting to run out of unique descriptions you see… hahaha) I spotted this Eurpoean woman overlooking the horizon from the view deck up at the peak of Mt. Tapyas
Bruce is my Tito Nor’s good friend; a.k.a Simon. His rock and roll debut – air guitaring his way there : D
I love how Tito Nor is holding my very hyper cousin Rossi on the shoulders just to keep him still hehehe. This is the whole gang minus me and Bruce : p
Well that’s it for our Palawan trip
I hope you enjoyed looking as much as I enjoyed taking these!
